John Grundy is a public health specialist with a focus on immunisation and health system strengthening in the Philippines
John Grundy is a public health specialist who has been based in the Asia region for the last 18 years. Prior to this, he was a health centre manager and public health academic based in Central Australia. Recent experience has focused on immunisation and health system strengthening support in the Philippines, Timor Leste, the Pacific, Cambodia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam and DPR Korea. Specific technical support activities have included development of health system strategy and health sector plans, research and evaluation of health access for disadvantaged populations, and design and evaluation of national immunisation plans and programs.
John has published widely in peer reviewed literature on the subjects of immunisation and health systems strengthening. He is currently based in Phnom Penh Cambodia and is affiliated with the Nossal Institute for Global Health, the University of Melbourne.
