Update for countries on how to apply for health system strengthening (HSS) cash support
Countries are invited to send an email confirming intention to apply and approximate month of application to gavihss@gavialliance.org. Countries can submit their applications on a rolling basis requesting new HSS support by email to the above address.
Note the following key dates for the next application submissions in 2013.

These deadlines apply to new HSS applications, resubmissions and to reprogramming requests to be reviewed by the Independent Review Committee (IRC).
GAVI recognises that it takes several months to prepare a good application package. Therefore, GAVI encourages only countries that are already preparing proposals to submit by the April 22 deadline. Countries which have not yet started to prepare their submissions can work towards applying by the September 15 deadline.
To apply, please download the current application materials posted on this page (please use this for application to GAVI only, not to the Global Fund). Updated application materials will be available in May 2013 for application submission deadline of 15 September 2013.
