Accelerated Vaccine Introduction (AVI) activities - announcement of forthcoming RFP
The GAVI Alliance would like to invite you to participate in an RFP (RFP-0005-08). The goal of this RFP is to find an organisation of consortium of partners that can manage activities to accelerate the introduction of rotavirus, pneumococcal and potential other new vaccines into GAVI eligible countries, through the Accelerated Vaccine Introduction initiative (AVI). The AVI is an umbrella of support activities at the global, regional and country level to provide assistance to countries in making decisions on the introduction of these and potentially other new vaccines.
The formal release of this RFP is contingent on receiving programmatic and funding approval by the GAVI Alliance and Fund Boards during the week of 30 June 2008.
