GAVI Request for Proposal for “Evaluation of Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) Effectiveness in Asia”
Objective of the tender:
The GAVI Alliance (GAVI) seeks to commission targeted assessments of the effectiveness of GAVI supported use of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCV) in Asia. The intent of the PCV assessment is to monitor the effectiveness of PCV in early adopting GAVI-eligible countries in Asia. Outcomes of interest include pneumococcal serotype replacement and reductions in any of the following: disease transmission, morbidity, mortality, inequity, and social and financial risk.
The selected Service Provider will work with GAVI, country institutions and technical experts to design and implement PCV effectiveness assessment activities in at least one GAVI-eligible Asian country and to regularly communicate progress and findings to key stakeholders including Ministries of Health, country institutions and the GAVI Alliance, to support real time use of the findings and continued programmatic improvements where applicable.
