Countries approved for health system strengthening
and civil society organisation support
There are a total of 72 countries eligible for support from GAVI for health system strengthening (HSS) and Civil Society Organisation (CSO) support. These types of support became available to countries for the first time in 2007 and as at December 2008 44 countries were approved for this new types of support.
