12 countries receive awards; government leaders, parliamentarians and civil society groups receive special recognitions
A special dinner was held on 6 December to honour those who have made a difference in the lives of children in developing countries and their communities through the effective delivery of immunisation programmes.
This year, additional special recognitions were given to individuals and non-government partners who work in immunisation, from advocacy to research and innovation, to sustainable financing and partnership.
