Annual progress reports

Countries receiving and implementing GAVI support submit annual progress reports to the monitoring team of the Independent Review Committee (IRC). Receipt of annual progress reports is a condition for continued support from GAVI. The IRC monitoring team assesses the reports and provides recommendations for approval to the GAVI Board.

Data quality audits

The DQA has been developed by WHO to help evaluate the quality of countries' health information systems and to verify the accuracy of reported data. Read more.

HSS country summaries

This work, undertaken by two external consultants, attempted to draft a standardised format for summarising approved HSS proposals in a three-page document and allows information to be collated for easy reference, responding to stakeholder requirements.

Note: Between 2000 and 2005, 75 countries were eligible for GAVI support. In 2006, the list was updated according to the eligibility criteria: Albania, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkmenistan were no longer eligible; Kiribati became eligible, making a total of 72 countries eligible for support from 2006 onwards.
