Change Management

GAVI is undergoing significant organisational change following Board decisions to merge the Alliance and Fund Boards. Although the unique partnership of GAVI will remain unchanged, governance is being fundamentally revamped and an application has gone to the Swiss authorities for the GAVI Foundation to become an international institution, with immunities and privileges similar to other international agencies in Geneva. A new human resource regime will be put in place, and all systems and procedures will be redesigned. Part of the change process will be to build on the best of what already exists.
