Evaluation Advisory Committee

At the June 2009 Board meeting, the Governance Committee recommended that the Board charter a small Evaluation Advisory Committee comprising a majority of independent evaluation experts and a minority of board members.

This Committee oversees organisation and programme evaluation; provides oversight for GAVI's organisational and programmatic evaluation activities; reviews and approves GAVI's multi-year and annual evaluation work plans and reviews the evaluation reports from the independent consultant selected to perform these reviews.

The committee will also periodically reassess the Evaluation Policy and report on its work to the Board as requested.
